Based on early scoping the Montana Chapter of TWS has determined that a “Recommendations” document might be a helpful tool for wildlife professionals and others involved in managing the interface between recreation and wildlife management. This document would be modeled on a similar effort: “Fish and Wildlife Recommendations for Subdivision Development in Montana” with the intent to guide professionals in an open discussion on the implementation of consistent wildlife conservation recommendations for recreation development and management in Montana based on best available science.
